He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Gilliam and Hazel Gilliam; and his siblings, Marvin Gilliam (Violet Gilliam) and Merlene Gilliam Hartley. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Gilliam Nichols (Roger Nichols) of Webb City, Dana Gilliam of Springfield and Shannon Gilliam Woolridge; his wife Nancy Mitchell Gilliam; his brother Carl Gilliam (Sue Gilliam); his brother-in-law David Hartley; his grandchildren, Shannon Gilliam Woolridge (Jarett Woolridge), Jackie Nichols Peters (Lee Peters), Jodie Nichols Reed (Dustin Reed), Mitchell Woolridge (Hannah Woolridge), Riley Woolridge (Sarah Woolridge), Courtney Gilliam, Hayden McGlumphry (Ethan McGlumphry) and Mason Gilliam; and his great grandchildren, Adelaide Peters, Lucy Craddock Reed, Vivienne Peters, Quincy Peters, Gabriel Reed and Felicity Peters.
