Henry Coursey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Coursey (Joplin, Missouri), who passed away on January 19, 2020 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Norman Coursey and Odie Ethel Coursey (Drumright); his wife Betty Coursey; his sons, Elbert Lee Coursey, James LeRoy Coursey and George Edward Coursey; his granddaughter Samantha Milburn; his son-in-law Lonnie M. Hinds; and his siblings, Ray, Roy, Orville, Kenneth, Clyde, Floyd Coursey, Thelma Frossard and Maxine Humphrey.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Coursey (Jackie) of Aurora, MO, Linda Johnson (Bill) of Loveland, CO and Patricia Hinds; and his daughter-in-law Joyce Coursey of Bella Vista, AR. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to South Joplin Christian Church in care of the mortuary.
