With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Lagers (Joplin, Missouri), born in Coffeyville, Kansas, who passed away on May 18, 2020 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Lagers to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Shrock and Dorothy Shrock (Sloan); and her sons, Steve and Darrell Pliler. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Lagers of Joplin; her children, John Pliler of Joplin, Dale Pliler of Marlo and Sharlyn Harris of Florida; and her siblings, John Shrock of Tyro, KS and Mary Jane Welsh. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Unity Church of Joplin and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
