He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Hill Herring Grau and Harold Herring Sr.; and his stepbrother Jim Grau. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his daughter Kelly Herring Edkin; his grandchildren, Gabriel May and Delena May Frank; his stepdaughters, Kalyn, Kalie and Traci; and his stepbrothers, John, Greg, Pat and Art Grau. He is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
