She was predeceased by: her parent William C. Chaplin; her son Leroy Cox; and her brothers, Murphy Chaplin, Raymond Chaplin and Delbert Chaplin.
She is survived by: her parent Helen I. Hefner Chaplin; her husband Truman Cox; her children, Rockford Cox (Margaret) of Joplin, Victoria Blair (Donald) of Armstrong, Cheryl Mathis (Donnie) of Seneca and Rebecca Clash (Patrick) of Grinnell, Iowa; and her sister Helen Belle Schell of Oregon, Illinois. She is also survived by wife, mother, and loving grandmother, and "cookie grandmother" to several great-grandchildren.
