Gloria Garner-Workman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Garner-Workman (Joplin, Missouri), born in Picher, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tommy Workman; her mother Lonnie Sr. Garner (Sprague); and her siblings, Lonnie Garner Jr. and Juanita Vanatta. She is survived by: her sisters, Evona Garner, Rebecca Brandon and Barbara Houtz (Pat); and her children, Vance Reeves (Robin Winfrey) and Amy Simmons (Mark Artigo). She is also survived by Four Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren and Five Bonus Grandchildren, along with many Nieces and Nephews.
She enjoyed donating time to the Picher Miners Museum, as well as working at the Tri-State Tribune and operating her own businesses in Picher over the years.
