He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bertha Newman and Vernon Newman; his wife Rosemary Pithers; his daughter Rebecca; his son-in-law Greg Powell of Springfield; his son Russell; his daughter-in-law Beth Newman of Joplin; his cousins, Beverly Newman and Linda Eckard (Zande); his grandchildren, Ava, Ethan, Aaron Powell, Marissa and Emily Newman; and his caregiver Gabby. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
The family has requested that any memorials be donated to the Missions Fund at Christ The King PCA.
