He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin McKinney and Wanetta Schaffer McKinney; and his brother Wayne McKinney. He is survived by: his children, Brian Cole of Joplin, Missouri, Misty Schrader of Joplin and Brandi Thomas (Craig) of Springfield, Missouri; his brother Don McKinney of Joplin, Missouri; his grandchildren, Noah Chandler, Keegan Thomas, Jace Thomas, Brittany Sauceda and Shelby McKinney; and his great grandchildren, Luke Sauceda, Carly Sauceda, Mateo Sauceda, Aiden Murray, Chase Murray and Mischa Murray.
