He is survived by: his children, Deborah Miller, Barbara Flores and Stephen Stinnett; his grandchildren, Gregory Flores, Lara Plasencia, Paul Lapinsky and Thesa Reyes; his great grandchildren, Grace, Chandler, Jacob, Liam, Macy, Maxine, Mykenzie and Torin; and his wife Opal Viola Crockett.

George became a draftsman and was proud of his contributions to his country.
