With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Edward Brown in Joplin, Missouri, born in Anadarko, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 4, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Edward "Ed" Corley and Inez Lou Corley (Pierce); his wife Mary Lou Brown (Robinson); his son Troy Brown; his son-in-law Albert Palmer; and his granddaughter Danielle Field.
He is survived by: his daughters, Glenda Palmer of Joplin, Sammie Merwin of Cheyenne, OK and Debbie Wiggins; his grandchildren, Michael Brown, Chrisopher Leyda, Sunshine Leyda, Christina Brown, Ashley Brown, Levi Brown and Colton McNess; his stepgrandchildren, Albie, Racritia, Dina and Tiffnie; and his siblings, Glen Corley and Dorothy Rentz. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren.
