She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Ruiz and Genoveva Ruiz; and her children, Arturo Montez and Esther Amayo. She is survived by: her children, Florentino Cortez (late Sylvia Cortez), Steve Montez (Carol Montez), Benito Montez (Trisha Montez), Juan Montez (Janet Montez), Gloria Cupp (Claude Cupp) and Martha Sohosky (Jason Sohosky); and her husband George Montez. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous siblings.
