Gene Hoskin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Hoskin (Joplin, Missouri), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 6, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Lewen Base and John Base; his wife Joan M. Hoskin; and his sisters, Joni Kampfert and Phyllis Willis.

He is survived by: his children, Mike Hoskin (Anita) of Atlanta, GA, Jim Hoskin (Kelli) of Dover, NH and Sandy Tinney (Rusty) of Joplin; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Tinney Doll (Cody), Amanda Tinney Lynch (Eric), Shelby Tinney-Edge (Jake), Keegan Tinney (Brittany), Brittany Hoskin (Ryan), Blake Hoskin (Jody), Ian Hoskin and Lucas Hoskin; his great grandchildren, River Amore Hoskin, Brynnley Grace Lynch and Zander William Tinney; and his sisters, Joyce Lyskawa (Stan) of Chicago and Janice Michaels of Chicago. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a large loving family of in-laws.
