She was predeceased by: her parents, John Littleton Stauffer and Helen McNeal Stauffer; her husband Dr. John W. McAllister (Bill); her sister Gretchen Torres; and her close friend Eddie McKay.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn Johnson, Dr. John McAllister (Sally) and Dr. Edward McAllister (Sheri); her grandchildren, Marly Ramsour, Ross Ramsour (Lindsay), Kaci Goetz, Will McAllister (Shannon), Joseph McAllister, Megan Kelling (Scott) and Lydia McAllister; her great grandchildren, Sylvia Goetz, Josephine McAllister, Bowen Kelling, Caroline Ramsour and Kollins Ramsour; and her nephews, David Torres and Cristian Torres. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
