He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Sorensen and Leonna Sorensen (Hadden); and his siblings, Alfred (Sorensen) and Janet Taylor. He is survived by: his spouse Tracy Evans; his daughter Amanda Sorensen of Siloam Springs, AR; and his pets, Cassie and Hudson.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Assistance Fund or the Kappa Alpha Order and may be entrusted to the mortuary in memory of Gary.
