With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Atkinson (Joplin, Missouri), born in La Russell, Missouri, who passed away on May 21, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Russell Atkinson and Geraldine Atkinson (Wooten); his daughters, Rhonda Atkinson of Joplin, Missouri, Pam Bannister of Joplin, Missouri and Heather Henson of Joplin, Missouri; and his sister Gloria Holmes. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren as well as extended family and friends.
