It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Garry Leon Peters (Joplin, Missouri), who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lee Peters and Edith Mae Greenlee Peters; his son Cory Anson Peters; and his half-brother Leroy. He is survived by: his wife Geneva Owens; his children, Collisha Rauch and Aaron Peters (Jami); and his grandchildren, Leevi Rauch, Keagan Peters (Lauren), Jensyn Rauch, Kailan Peters and Allisyn Rauch. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his beloved dog.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Joplin Humane Society in care of Thornhill Dillon Mortuary.
