He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Howard (Motley) and Jess Howard; his granddaughter Heather Dawn Crawmer; and his siblings, Lee, Fred, Jess Jr., Don, Bob, Gary, Leona, Hazel and Lola.
He is survived by: his children, Marcy Crawmer (Jim) of Neosho, Rita Kittell of Bowling Green, KY, Leonard Howard (Carol) of Miami, OK, Joyce Davis (Steve) of Neosho and Cheryl Peters (Dan) of Neosho; and his sister Beulah Letts of Goodman, MO. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
