We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2024, at the age of 78, Forestine Taylor of Joplin, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucius Johnson and Hollis Caldwell Sims; her son Wayne Taylor; and her siblings, Geraldine Whitmire, Norma Jean Meredith, Lennie Jones, Jimmy Jones and Lawrence Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Audrey, James, Charlotte, Norma, Walter III (Marsha) and Bernice Holly (Rick); her sister Sarah Redmond; her grandchildren, Justin Micheal Taylor (Latisha), Devin James Taylor (Meghan), Eddie Garcia (Mackensie), Kierra Robinson (Isaiah), Ashlynn Marie Stevens (Jeremy), Bridgett Bassett and RaNeesha Williams (Rylie); and her cousins, Leroy Parks (Kay) and Rodney Armstrong. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
