It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd David Burkey (Joplin, Missouri), who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daisy Benoit Burkey and Kenneth Burkey; his wife Cheryl; his daughter Sandra Burkey Macdonald; his son-in-law Jeff Macdonald; and his aunts, Irma Lee Wecker and Adabelle Nance.

Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
