He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Lesh and Ellen Lesh (Smith); and his sisters, Joy Speziale and Carol Lesh. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Lesh; his children, Kimmy Fredrickson (Rick), Gene P. Lesh of Joplin and Danny Lesh (Amanda) of Joplin; his grandchildren, Samantha Reeves of Webb City and Logan Allgood of St. Louis, Missouri; his great grandchild Domenica (Reeves); his stepchildren, Debbie Fitzsimmons of Auburn, CA and Michael Connolly of Floral Park; the mother of his children Irene Marshall (Doyle) of Joplin; his siblings, Charlotte Godwin of Columbus, OH and Tommy Lesh (Carol) of North Carolina; and his close friend Domino. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Joplin Humane Society or the American Cancer Society care of Parker Mortuary.
