She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Winston Carter and Beulah Brown; her husband John T. Peterson; her children, Bob Peterson of Joplin, Steve Peterson of Joplin and Kim Splitter (Anthony) of Joplin; her siblings, Wayne Carter Carter (Susie) of Carthage and Lorraine Knight of Carthage; her grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Holly, Jacob, Erin, Blake and Brandon; her daughter Carol Rodgers; and her sister Jeanette Fullerton.
