He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Southard and Pauline Southard (Jeans); and his siblings, John Southard, Don Southard, Bob Southard, Roy Southard, Betty Symack, Shirley Gibbs and Mary Lou Southard.
He is survived by: his wife Valeria Greninger; his children, Dewayne "Buck" Southard (Brenda), Kevin Southard (Roxy) and Kelli Funderburk (Mark); his grandchildren, Justin Southard of Joplin, Brian Southard of Joplin, Kolby Southard of Joplin, Kelsy Bentley, Stephanie Funderburk and Bethanie Funderburk; and his brother Carl. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
