She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Layman and Ethel Layman (Ferguson); her husband Howard Black; her daughter Rebecca Ruth Black; and her grandson Randall Simmons II.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Black of Joplin and Elizabeth Heltzel (Larry) of Joplin; her grandchildren, Randall Simmons (Roberta), Melinda Carrico (Huey) and Dennis Bateman Jr. (Phaedra); her great grandchildren, Melissa, Alexis, Madison, Levi, Kayla, Kaydn, Kaymn, Dennis III, Isis and Benjamin; and her great great grandchild Jaxton.
Memorial donations may be made to the Blendville Christian Church and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
