He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Atwood and Misha Atwood (Johnson); his wife Nona L. Atwood; his children, Ginny Atwood-Wallace, Suzie Atwood-Carver of Joplin, Matt Atwood (Carla) of Oregon City, Oregon and Cathy Atwood of Joplin; and his sister Ginny Conard of Waterville, Washington. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
