With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Evelyn Bayless of Joplin, Missouri, born in Waterloo, Nebraska, who passed away on September 19, 2023 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edith Evelyn Bayless to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Miller and Genevieve Miller; her husband Edward Bayless; and her sister Nancy Young. She is survived by: her children, Jim Bayless, Rick Bayless (Melinda), Crestwood, Kevin Bayless (Jo Rae), Leon, Jack Williams (Adrienne), Kathy Wright (Richard) of Joplin, Cynthia Cheesbrough (Jason) of Joplin and April Smallwood (Aaron) of Joplin. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are requested to God's Resort in care of the Mortuary.
