With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Nicholls (Joplin, Missouri), born in Franklin, Kansas, who passed away on February 27, 2018 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Garrett L. and Florence Buckley (Shell); and her siblings, Lawrence Buckley, Maurice Buckley, Delmar Buckley, James Buckley, Wilda Harding and Wilma Larson.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Tan; her children, Roy Nicholls of Joplin, Elizabeth Sternes of Joplin and Jeanne Mueller (Cameron) of Joplin; her grandchildren, Hannah, Caitlin, Sarah, Megan Mueller and Garrett Sternes (Pam); her great grandchildren, Kyle Sternes, Lauren Sternes and Nathan Sternes; and also Taffy Tan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
