Doris Darlene Williams Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2025, at the age of 90, Doris Darlene Williams (Joplin, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Doris Darlene has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Henry Ayres and Doris Maire Ayres (Wheelen); her husband Jerry D. Williams; and her son Robert Hodge, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Robin Ross (John) of Carl Junction, Richard Hodge (Chris) of Waterloo, IA, Kenneth Hodge of Joplin, Kerry Paul Hodge of Joplin and Michael Williams (Marie) of Joplin. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Joplin Boys and Girls Club care of Parker Mortuary.
