With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna M. Popplewell of Joplin, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on June 16, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Smith and Gertrude Smith (Weiseng); her former husband Garry Smith; her husband William "Bill" Popplewell; her son David Smith; and her sister Pat Gilbert.
She is survived by: her daughter Janice Manuel (Phillip) of Joplin; her grandsons, Jonathan Manuel of Joplin and Alexander Manuel of Joplin; and her siblings, Ron Smith (Liz) of Lee's Summit, JoAnne Howard of Kansas City and Jeannine Parkinson of Kansas City. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
