He is survived by: his son Dawsen James Wimer; his siblings, Daniel Wimer and Jennifer Tatum; his sister-in-law Cristy Wimer of Joplin; his nieces and nephews, Whitney Wimer, Natalie Wimer, Steven Tatum and Lauren Roush (Chris); and his close friend Kristine Church.
