He is survived by: his wife Nancy Maria Ashworth; his sons, Gary Sheets (Charlene) of Carthage, David Sheets of Springfield and Eric Sheets (Stacey) of Stevens Point, Wisconsin.; his grandchildren, Jenny Madsen (Sam), Amanda Lyn Hollars (Lee), Michael Sheets (Sarah), Amanda Leigh Sheets (Brandon), Stephanie Haley (Casey), Ethan Sheets (Deb) and Alex Sheets; his great grandchildren, Eli, Connor, Courtney, Daniel, Kenzie, Kyler, Kelby and Ellie; his brother Carl Sheets of Carthage; and his nephew Scott Sheets (Debbie) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma..
