He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Dillinger-Smith; his children, LaTanya of Miami, Yolanda Smith of Miami, Don L. Smith, III of Joplin, Rickey R. Smith of Joplin and Tyrell Smith of Miami; and his siblings, Terry Smith of Jefferson City, Kevin Smith of Miami, Timothy White of Joplin and Tracy Smith of Joplin. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and numerous extended family.
