He was predeceased by: his brothers, Roger Meier and David Meier. He is survived by: his wife Connie Meier; his children, Brandy Horn (Greg), Steven Meier (Tori), Debbie Dorsey and Larry Mauller (Robin); and his siblings, Ken Meier (Brenda) and Kathy Mathieu. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary (602 S Byers Ave, Joplin, MO 64801). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (2616 Connecticut Ave, Joplin, MO 64801).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made out to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
