Don Green Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2022, at the age of 96, Don Green (Joplin, Missouri), born in Asbury, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Green and Mary Green (Hughes); and his siblings, Norman, Kenneth, Bernice, Kay and Willadean.

He is survived by: his wife Lilly Green (Mead); his children, Mike Green (Debbie) of Joplin, Chris Johnson (Charlotte) of Columbus, Donald Emmert (Melanie) of Carthage and Elizabeth "Becky" Abela (Craig) of Australia; and his stepchildren, Brenda Johns (Jim) of Pittsburg, Brian Barbee (Caryn) of Lees Summit, Michael Barbee of Joplin, Steven Barbee (Patty) of Eagle Rock and Larry Barbee (Lesa) of Seneca, Missouri. He is also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several step grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
