He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Merl Carlin and Katherine Carlin (Edwards); his wife Judith Jones; and his children, Daniel Carlin, Nicholas Carlin, Jason Carlin, Dennis Carlin, Sheona Brown and Cathy Kumuno. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
