She was predeceased by: her parents, Sequoia Dawes and Thama Dawes (Ward); her husband David Filbeck; and her sister Jerry Tyree. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Ken Filbeck (Christine) of Oakhurst, CA, Dr. David Filbeck (Sharon) of Thailand, Carmen Filbeck and Catherine Filbeck of Joplin; and her brothers, Sequoia "Sunny" Dawes and Bob Dawes (Pam) of Buffalo, MO. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Mission to the Orient and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
