He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Alford and Jeanne Alford. He is survived by: his wife Malinda Martin; his children, John Alford (Kim) of Joplin, Jason Alford (Alison) of Joplin and Julie Brooks (Tyler) of Cave Springs, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Jackson, Kaiden, Keigan, Jala, Ollie, Nora and Asher; and his siblings, Dale Alford (Terri) of Diamond, Don Alford (Donna) of Diamond, Kathleen Reiboldt (Bill) of Neosho and Janice Garbet (Mark) of Diamond.
