He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Edgerton, Sr. and Irene Isabelle (Vinsant); and his brothers, Dick Edgerton, Gary Edgerton and Steve Edgerton.
He is survived by: his friends, Mike, Big Moose, Big Dave and Jack; his wife Mikalyne Edgerton of Joplin, MO; his children, Marci Chronister (Dale), Heather Bourbon of Marshall, MO and David Edgerton, Jr. (Stephanie) of Joplin, MO.; his grandchildren, Logan Chronister, Gabe Bourbon, Houston and Remi Edgerton; and his siblings, Dan Edgerton (Marlene) of Grimes, IA, Ron Edgerton (Linda) of Tucson, AZ, Pat Seil (Melvin) of Farnhamville, IA and Sue Schultz (Don) of Battle Creek, IA..
