He is survived by: his wife Beverly Dye; his children, Dawn McCormick, Brenda Jackson, Daryl Dye (Cindy), John Reeves (Paula) and Don Dye; his stepchildren, Tina Dossett (Tim), Marion Loveless (Charlie) and Lynnette Lee (Bill); and his sister Sue Cuifolo. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
