He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Coatney; his siblings, Ronald Lawson, Denver Lawson, Bonnie Durnell, Betty Hummel, Jimi Kates and Patty Simons; and his sons, Cecil Lawson (Natasha), Justin Lawson and Mike Lawson (Laney).
