It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Evelyn Gilbert (Joplin, Missouri), born in Mountain Grove, Missouri, who passed away on November 4, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Nile Cobb and Billie Jean Street Cobb; her siblings, Larry Cobb, Russell Cobb and Joyce Morris; and her husband Timothy Howard Gilbert.
She is survived by: her siblings, Marsha Capp of Asbury, Debbie Coats (Lennie) of Joplin, Steve Cobb (Vickie) of Joplin, Jeff Cobb (Sally) of Asbury and Bryan Cobb of Joplin; her daughters, Tamera "Tammy" Gilbert of Joplin and Teresa Forest (Kevin) of Omaha, Nebraska; and her grandchildren, Trey Forest, Ava Forest and Eden Gilbert. She is also survived by several extended family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lafayette House in memory of Connie and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
