Clyde Plummer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2021, at the age of 91, Clyde Plummer of Joplin, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Clyde Plummer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Plummer and Henry Plummer; his siblings, Ross Plummer, L. D. Plummer, Jewel Fenimore, Darlene Wilson and Joe Plummer; and his son Charles Plummer.

He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Plummer (Chandler Davidson) of Houston, TX; his sisters, Thelma Bass of Carthage, MO and Ailene DeWelt (Nelson Williams) of Joplin; his grandson Chad (Tammie) of Carl Junction, MO; his great grandchild Chase (Sadie) of Carl Junction; his stepgreat-granddaughter Ashley Garrett (Dakota) of Joplin; his great great grandchild Mackson; his goddaughter Amber Brewer; and his children, Donald, Anthony, Matthew Hignite and Keira Brewer-Lewis of Galena, KS. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

It was a tremendous loss when Charles died at age 68 as a casualty of the worldwide pandemic of a novel coronavirus, COVID-19, just one day before Clyde's fatal accident.

In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial contributions to his goddaughter and dear friend Amber Brewer to assist with care of her children. Contributions may be made in care of the mortuary.
