Cheryl Faye Hobbs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Faye Hobbs in Joplin, Missouri, born in Torrance, California, who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Chambell and Ina Pendleton; her stepsons, Michael Hobbs and Patrick Slavens; and her siblings, David Gilbert, Wayne Gilbert, Melvin Chambell, Michael Chambell and Elaine Gilbert.
She is survived by: her children, Jeremy Sheldon and Stephanie Dillon of Joplin; her stepsons, Wayne Hobbs, Jimmy Hobbs and Mitchell Hobbs; and her siblings, Terry Chambell (Karen), Ron Chambell, John Chambell, Joan Poulson and Linda Pruitt (Birl). She is also survived by four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Steve Fierro Memorial Scholarship at Missouri Southern State University, in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
