She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Cox and Effie Cox; her son Paul Starchman; her grandson Brian Starchman (Jennifer) of Joplin; her great grandchild Andrew Coleman; her child Carly of Webb City; her grandchildren, John Ryan Starchman (Jennifer Tharp) of Carl Junction, Missouri and Janelle Hurn (Ryan) of Springfield; her great grandchildren, Allannah Rose and Alyssa Jo; her nieces, Barbra, Ruth, Ellen and Sandra; her great grandchildren, Megan Whited of St. Louis and Ryan Starchman of Joplin; her husband John V. Starchman; her son John L. Starchman; and her grandson Joseph Ross Starchman.
