He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stoneberg and Emma Stoneberg (Cochran); his wives, Frances Beckham and Clara Harris; and his siblings, J. D. Stoneberg, Arthur Stoneberg and Marie Griggs.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Stanley of Monett and Janet Johnson of Abilene, Texas; and his stepchildren, Sam Gum (Tammy), Paula Beckham of Joplin and Rose Barwick of Joplin. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren (and one on the way); 2 great-great-grandchildren; a host of step grand and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Spring City Baptist Church.
