He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack R. Gardner and Beatrice A. Mahurin; and his sister Betty Gardner. He is survived by: his sons, Charles R. Gardner, II (Janie) of Webb City and Stephen Dale Gardner (Roi Ann) of Neosho; and his sister Wanda Southard (Chris) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
