He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur and Martha Pauline Ames (Furr); and his wife Dorothy Lucille Blevins. He is survived by: his sister Dorothy Contreras; his grandson Michael; his children, Robert Ames (Beverly) of Carl Junction, MO, Gary Ames (Karen), Joplin and Diana Yeager (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Robert Floyd Ames and Elizabeth Grindstaff; and his great grandchild Stormy Grindstaff.
