He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles G. Gilstrap, Sr. and Lewella Dickinson Gilstrap; and his sisters, Judy Sluder and Mary Derrick. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Stripling; his children, Tracy Gilstrap and Christopher Gilstrap; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Ciera and Bryson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hornet Cemetery.
