He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn A. Cole and Adeline M. Cole (Hall); his wife Betty Cole (Lewis); his daughter Cindy Yount; his brother Dale A. Cole; and his son-in-law Peter Morgan.
He is survived by: his daughter LeeAnn Morgan of Carthage; his grandsons, Brandon Cox, Jeremy Cox, Zachary Cox and Caleb Morgan; and his former wife Rubie Ward of Joplin. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
