We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Carol Marlene Stark (Joplin, Missouri). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewayne Cowan and Nancy Cowan of Carthage. She is survived by: her sons, Craig Stark (Christen) of Pilot Grove and Joe Stark (Katy) of Ozark; her grandchildren, Austyn, Garrett, Evelyn, Sam, Henry and Nora; and her sisters, Marcia Snyder (Pat) of Avilla and Diana Moffett of Joplin. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Carol Stark Excellence in Journalism Scholarship Fund.
