He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ray Thompson and Gladys Glendola Fouts Thompson; and his son Kenny. He is survived by: his spouse Maril Linda Hayes; his children, Michael Thompson (Laura) and Linda Ashworth; his grandchildren, Ian Thompson, Nicholas Thompson, Graham Thompson and Elise Ashworth; and his great grandchildren, Jackson and Jamison Ashworth.
